Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and products.
• Create accurate 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using CAD software.
• Prepare and maintain BOMs, part specifications, and engineering documentation.
• Apply GD&T, tolerances, fits, and engineering standards to drawings.
• Select appropriate materials and manufacturing processes based on design requirements.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and design validation.
• Work closely with manufacturing, production, quality, and procurement teams.
• Review prototypes and identify design improvements.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and modification of existing products.
• Ensure designs meet cost, quality, performance, and safety requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and implement engineering changes.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design or product development.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Good understanding of GD&T, engineering drawings, tolerances, and fits.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, sheet metal, fabrication, casting, and injection molding.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
