Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for design and development of automation equipment using 3D CAD software and other simulation tools.
• Plan and manage mechanical design schedule.
• Generate detailed drawings and assembly drawings for manufacturing, assembly & engineering works as well as preparing Bill of Material (BOM) list for purchasing purposes
• Translate customer’s requirement into design specification, evaluate design functionality & feasibility to meet customer’s request
• Provide technical support to internal & external party on mechanical related issues.
• On-site support for mechanical related issues if needed.
• Other duties and assignment as assigned by superior

Job Requirements

• Previous experience as Design Engineer or a similar role; experience in Automation is a plus
• Project management capability is preferred.
• More than 2 years of working experience in the related field
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Proficient in 3D CAD software; Solidworks preferred
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Able to work independently, is responsible and a team player with good work ethics and attitude
