Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components, including enclosures, chassis, and precision fixtures
• Create 3D CAD models and detailed engineering drawings
• Develop cooling and thermal management solutions and perform mechanical/thermal analysis
• Design mechanical solutions for OEM platforms and Automated Test Equipment (ATE) systems
• Support prototype builds, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting
• Coordinate with CNC and fabrication suppliers
• Work with mechanical suppliers to ensure quality, cost, and delivery requirements
• Prepare and maintain engineering documentation and revision control
• Improve designs for manufacturability, reliability, and cost efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in Mechanical Design
• Experience in electronic equipment or instrumentation is preferred
• Experience with OEM or ATE integration is a plus
• Knowledge of thermal management and mechanical analysis
• Experience with RF/optical interfaces or EMI considerations is a plus
• Proficient in 3D CAD software
• Hands-on and comfortable working in a fast-paced R&D environment
