Mechanical Design Engineer

• Strong knowledge of Mechanical Engineering fundamentals.
• Good understanding of machine design and mechanical components.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or equivalent.
• Ability to read and prepare engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Knowledge of GD&T, tolerances, fits, welding symbols, and fabrication practices.
• Knowledge of material selection and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of machining, sheet-metal fabrication, structural fabrication, welding, and assembly.
• Knowledge of bearings, shafts, gears, chains, belts, couplings, gearboxes, and other power-transmission components.
• Ability to prepare accurate BOMs and engineering documentation.
• Ability to work effectively with production and shop-floor teams.
• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience in mechanical/machine design.
