We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Auckland Engineering Team — someone who enjoys solving real problems, genuine technical challenges, practical thinking, working closely with customers to delivery high-quality outcomes, strong teamwork, getting the job done properly, and seeing their designs come to life in the workshop and on site.

What You'll Do

• Mechanical design, calculations, and detailing for customer projects - from site measure-ups through to production drawings
• Make sure designs stack up against relevant AS/NZS standards, with QA/QC sign-off before manufacturing
• Support project scoping, tenders, procurement and customer site evaluations
• Work closely with our manufacturing, construction, and commissioning teams to bring designs from paper to reality
• Keep reporting sharp and data accurate across our digital platforms
• Help drive a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement across the team

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years' experience in mechanical design and engineering
• A track record of matching the right technical solution to the problem in front of you
• Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Attention to detail and a "get it right before it goes to production" mindset
• A collaborative, curious and innovative thinker not afraid ask questions
