About the Role

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and coordinating mechanical systems for a wide range of building projects, ensuring compliance with local authority regulations, international standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical design calculations and drawings for HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting systems.
• Develop design concepts, layouts, and detailed engineering drawings.
• Perform cooling load calculations and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, Electrical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure designs comply with UAE codes, ASHRAE, NFPA, DEWA, ADDC, ADCD, and other relevant authority requirements.
• Review shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Participate in design coordination meetings and provide technical support throughout project execution.
• Assist in value engineering and design optimization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP building design.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, Drainage, and Fire Fighting design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.
• Experience with Revit MEP is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of HAP, Pipe Flow, or other engineering software is an advantage.
• Familiarity with UAE authority regulations and approval procedures.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
