Work Experience

• At least 1 year of mechanical design experience on automation equipment

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or any related field

Language Requirements

• Fluent in Malay & English
• Professional working proficiency in Mandarin is advantage but not compulsory (to communicate with colleague from Taiwan)

Job Description

1. Responsible for mechanical design of automation equipment, 3D/2D drafting, and component selection.
2. Prepare specifications, BOMs and conduct design reviews based on customer requirements.
3. Coordinate with electrical, assembly and project engineers to resolve design issues.
4. Prototype assembly, mass-production feasibility evaluation and design optimization.
5. Maintain design documents, change histories and technical records.

Other Requirements

• Highly proficient in SolidWorks or Creo (3D CAD), with experience of producing accurate 2D engineering drawings
• Strong understanding of BOM and tolerance analysis, with the capability to design mechanical parts independently
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across different functional teams.
