Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Manufacturing & Installation team. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and improving Automation systems, components, and structures in compliance with safety standards, customer requirements, and industry regulations.

• Design, develop, and detail for machine or automation components, systems, and structures (mechanical, electrical, and structural).
• Prepare and review 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software (FreeCAD, or equivalent).
• Conduct feasibility studies and engineering calculations for load, stress, and safety.
• Modify and improve existing designs to enhance efficiency, safety, and performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for technical specifications and component selection.
• Prepare technical documentation and design reports.
• Develop, simulate, and validate robotic automation processes.
• Selecting and placing equipment like robots, conveyors, and tools, ensuring their feasibility.
• Perform cycle time analysis, reachability studies, and collision detection to ensure optimal robotic motion and accessibility within defined layouts, when required
• Developing kinematics for 3D models for machinery and plant equipments.
• Support the development of Virtual Commissioning and Digital Twin models for virtual validation of RAS - Robotics& Automation System.
• Commissioning of other machineries also.

Requirements

• · Diploma or Bachelor's degree in one of the discipline - Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics, Automation, Electrical, Instrumentation & Control, Industrial Engineering or any similar discipline.
• Familiarity with any CAD software e.g. FreeCAD, basic mechanical system
• Strong communication skills in English with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mechanical understanding of industrial equipment and machinery
• Experience in at least one of the major 3D Modelling tools and the ability to quickly self-learn.
• Willingness to travel on site for projects.
• For candidates currently working, a minimum of 3 years experience is required.
• Freshers and Diploma holders are also welcome

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
