Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare design layouts for fire fighting systems (hydrant, sprinkler, fire alarm, hydraulic calculation).
• Develop drawings using AutoCAD as per NBC and local standards
• Perform hydraulic calculations for fire fighting systems
• Prepare BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimation
• Study project drawings, tenders, and specifications
• Coordinate with site and project teams for execution
• Ensure designs comply with fire safety norms and standards
• Support in tender documentation and technical submissions
• Visit sites when required for design verification

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (must)
• Knowledge of firefighting systems design
• Understanding of hydraulic calculations
• Ability to read technical drawings and layouts
• Good coordination and problem-solving skills

Qualification:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Fire Engineering

Experience:

• 6months- 2 years
