Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with strong expertise in Revit, HVAC design, ductwork, hydronic systems, and clash coordination. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience delivering high-quality mechanical designs and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver detailed mechanical/HVAC designs using Revit.
• Produce high-quality ductwork designs and layouts.
• Design and develop hydronic systems in accordance with project requirements.
• Perform clash detection and coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, plumbing, and other disciplines.
• Review and coordinate BIM models to identify and resolve design conflicts.
• Prepare and review mechanical drawings, layouts, schedules, and technical documentation.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers, architects, and other project stakeholders.
• Review designs for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project requirements.
• Support the project team throughout the design and coordination process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 8+ years of relevant mechanical design experience.
• 10/10 proficiency in Revit – mandatory.
• Strong experience in HVAC design.
• High-level ductwork design skills.
• High-level experience in hydronic system design.
• Strong clash detection and coordination skills.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary BIM models.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems, design standards, and engineering principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Experience working on U.S. projects is highly preferred.
