Mechanical Design Engineer

Experience: Fresher to 2 Years

Educational Qualification

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Mechatronics Engineering
• Automobile Engineering

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of automotive and mechanical components.
• Prepare and modify 3D models and 2D engineering drawings.
• Support the design and development of fixtures, jigs and tooling.
• Understand basic mechanical design principles, dimensions, tolerances and manufacturing requirements.
• Work closely with senior design engineers to develop design solutions as per project requirements.
• Make design modifications based on engineering requirements and feedback from manufacturing.
• Coordinate with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are practical and production-friendly.
• Maintain design drawings, revisions and related engineering documents.
• Participate in design review and troubleshooting activities.
• Support automotive BIW and industrial design projects.

Required Skills

For Freshers:

• Basic knowledge of mechanical design concepts.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD software.
• Understanding of engineering drawings and basic manufacturing processes.
• Basic knowledge of jigs, fixtures and tooling will be an advantage.
• Good learning ability and willingness to work in automotive design projects.

For Candidates with Experience (1–2 Years):

• Working knowledge of CATIA and Unigraphics is required.
• Basic knowledge of fixture and jig design.
• Experience in 3D modelling and 2D drawing preparation.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 per month
