Mechanical Design Engineer, Ruggedised Electronics (m/w/d) | Germany

A defence technology business in Germany needs a mechanical engineer to package RF and electronic systems for demanding military environments.

You’ll design enclosures and integrate electronics and antennas, using FEA/CFD on thermal and structural loads. You’ll also prepare hardware for environmental testing and take designs through to manufacture. The work covers several projects in parallel, so it suits someone who enjoys variety.

What you’ll bring

• SolidWorks, NX or Creo, with practical FEA/CFD
• Experience packaging ruggedised electronics where weight and vibration matter (aerospace, defence or robotics)
• Hands-on environmental testing experience
• Composites, MIL-STD-810 or EMC-aware design is a bonus
