Job Description – Mechanical Design Engineer

Qualification: B.E. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: Fresher to 6 months
Salary: ₹11,000–₹17,000 per month, based on skills and knowledge
Mandatory Software: SolidWorks

Role Overview

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with hands-on knowledge of SolidWorks and basic exposure to plastic injection molding to support product design and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D part models, assemblies, and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
• Assist in designing plastic components suitable for injection molding.
• Consider wall thickness, draft angles, ribs, bosses, and other molding requirements during design.
• Update drawings and models based on design reviews and manufacturing feedback.
• Coordinate with tooling, production, and quality teams for component development.
• Maintain design files, drawings, and bills of materials.

Required Skills

• Working knowledge of SolidWorks is mandatory.
• Basic exposure to plastic injection molding through academic projects, internships, training, or work experience.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and mechanical design fundamentals.
• Attention to detail, willingness to learn, and good teamwork skills.
