Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Purpose Join our team as a Mechanical Design Engineer. A Mechanical Design Engineer is involved in defining and improving products - from validating specifications and selecting materials to verifying mechanical compatibility. They ensure compliance with technical requirements and customer specifications while actively contributing to the design of effective solutions. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Early analysis of battery tray design requirements (components, parts, and accessories)
• Creation of 2D/3D CAD models and production drawings
• Knowledge of mechanical constraints (tolerances, dimensioning, etc.)
• Selection of materials and components according to technical requirements, costs, and production processes
• Designing technical solutions tailored to customer needs
• Participation in design reviews and FMEA analyses including proposing corrective actions
• Optimization of design with regard to costs and producibility (manufacturing, assembly, etc.)
• Using tools and processes related to customer orders
• Support in the preparation of technical documentation

Qualifications

• University or secondary technical education (mechanical engineering or related )
• Very good knowledge of Czech and English; knowledge of French is an advantage
• At least 2 years of experience in product construction and designing complex assemblies from multiple materials
• Very good knowledge of mechanics, materials engineering, and industrial processes
