Mechanical Design Engineer

Role & responsibilities

1. Create 3D part models and assemblies using SolidWorks.
2. Prepare 2D engineering drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and annotations.
3. Assist in developing mechanical components and assemblies as per design requirements.
4. Modify existing designs based on feedback from senior engineers.
5. Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and design documentation.
6. Coordinate with Production, Quality, and other departments to resolve design-related issues.
7. Understand engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and basic GD&T concepts.
8. Follow company design standards, quality requirements, and document-control procedures.
9. Support prototype development, testing, and design improvements.
10. Complete assigned design tasks within the specified timelines.
