Mechanical Design Engineer I

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

a. Designs and develops mechanical parts, components, fixtures, and assemblies based on approved specifications.

b. Creates and updates 2D drawings and 3D models using CAD software.

c. Assists in building, assembling, and testing prototypes.

d. Reviews existing designs and recommends improvements for quality, performance, and manufacturability.

e. Prepares engineering documents such as drawings, Bills of Materials (BOM), specifications, and Engineering Change Notices (ECN).

f. Assists in investigating design-related problems and production issues and recommends appropriate solutions.

g. Coordinates with Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Quality Assurance, and other concerned departments regarding design and engineering requirements.

h. Assists in the design and improvement of jigs, fixtures, tools, and other equipment.

i. Ensures that designs comply with company standards, specifications, quality requirements, and safety requirements.

j. Maintains proper and updated engineering records and documents.

k. Performs other related duties as assigned by the Design Engineering Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledge of CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design and engineering drawings.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
