Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs), customized machinery, and industrial automation equipment. The candidate should be proficient in CAD software and possess practical knowledge of mechanical design, manufacturing drawings, and machine development.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop SPMs and customized automation machinery.
• Create 3D models, 2D drawings, assembly drawings, and BOMs.
• Design mechanical components, fixtures, jigs, and machine structures.
• Select suitable motors, bearings, shafts, gearboxes, actuators, and linear motion components.
• Apply GD&T, fits, tolerances, and material specifications.
• Coordinate with manufacturing, assembly, and automation teams.
• Support design modifications, troubleshooting, and machine testing.
• Ensure designs meet technical specifications and manufacturing requirements.

Required Skills

• SolidWorks / Creo / Autodesk Inventor.
• 2D drafting and 3D modelling.
• Special Purpose Machine design and machine building.
• GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
• BOM preparation and component selection.
• Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Understanding of fabrication, machining, and mechanical assembly.

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with 7–15 years of hands-on experience in SPM design, industrial automation, or customized machine development will be preferred.
