Mechanical Design Engineer (UAV/Drones) - Freelance - Munich

I'm currently supporting a confidential contract opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a next generation UAV programme in Munich.

We are working with the next neo-prime of quadcopter technology in the Defence market. They are currently developing their next generation UAV system and are looking to secure a freelancer to support the design and development of the new platform.

Initial Scope

• Mechanical design for the new UAV platform

• Design and development of the next generation system

• Designing systems for series production

What We Are Looking For

• Drone / UAV / Unmanned systems design experience

• Any CAD package considered

• Understanding of design for series production

• Clear understanding of the design considerations for a flying UAV system

Contract Details

• Initial 6 month engagement

• Competitive hourly rate

• Long term prospects

• Flexible hybrid set up, but presence in Munich is key

To be considered, you must be a European citizen and eligible for Defence clearance.
