Role Overview:

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Mechanical Design Expert (Remote) to work on a contract basis. The position requires expertise in CAD modeling and mechanical design to develop components and assemblies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine designs for manufacturability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using industry-standard software.

• Create and iterate on mechanical designs to meet specified requirements and constraints.

• Perform tolerance stack-up analyses and ensure designs comply with engineering standards.

• Generate and maintain accurate documentation, including BOMs and design specifications.

• Provide technical support during prototyping, testing, and production phases.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent is required.

• Experience with parametric modeling and sheet metal design is required.

• Knowledge of GD&T and industry best practices for mechanical design is required.

• Familiarity with simulation tools for structural and thermal analysis is preferred.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications is required.
