Role Overview:
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Intern with strong drafting fundamentals and CAD expertise to support our engineering team on live hardware development programs.
This is a hands-on opportunity to work on real manufacturing drawings, production ready components, and defence-grade hardware systems.
Eligibility
⚫ B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
⚫ Final Year Students or Recent Graduates
⚫ Freshers with strong drafting skills are encouraged to apply

Mandatory Skills
⚫ Working knowledge of engineering drawing standards
⚫ Basic understanding of GD&T concepts (datums, fits, tolerance basics)
⚫ Familiarity with surface finish symbols and welding symbols
⚫ Proficiency in SolidWorks (part modeling, assemblies, and basic drawings)
⚫ Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting
⚫ Ability to create clear and structured 2D drawings from 3D models
⚫ Good attention to detail in dimensioning and annotation Good to Have
⚫ Exposure to Sheet Metal / Machining / Fabrication Processes
⚫ Experience interacting with Production or Quality Teams
⚫ Basic understanding of Material Selection (MS, SS, Aluminium, Plastics)

Key Responsibilities
⚫ Support senior engineers in preparing part and assembly drawings
⚫ Convert 3D CAD models into structured 2D manufacturing drawings
⚫ Apply GD&T symbols under supervision
⚫ Assist in tolerance stack-up documentation
⚫ Revise drawings based on production and QA feedback
⚫ Maintain drawing revision control and documentation records
⚫ Coordinate with fabrication/machining teams for clarifications

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
