Mechanical Design Manager

1. Manage, lead, and support the mechanical design team to ensure effective team performance and timely project delivery.

2. Lead and ensure the quality, reliability, and functionality of mechanical designs in accordance with project requirements and company standards.

3. Review and validate new designs, design modifications, and improvement proposals to ensure technical feasibility and compliance with specifications.

4. Develop and provide mechanical layouts for new projects based on customer requirements and project specifications.

5. Develop design concepts, conduct design reviews, and provide technical guidance to ensure optimal design solutions.

6. Monitor and manage design schedules and project timelines to ensure all design activities are completed within the stipulated deadlines.

7. Review and approve Purchase Requisitions (PRs) for the Purchasing Department to support project and operational requirements.

8. Stay updated on the latest technologies, industry trends, and market requirements to identify opportunities for design innovation and improvement.

9. Lead, supervise, and develop a team of mechanical design engineers to enhance their technical capabilities, work efficiency, and overall performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.

• Minimum 6 years of working experience in mechanical design or a related field.

• Proven experience in leading and managing a team of mechanical designers or engineers.

• Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.

• Proficient in Siemens NX 8, with intermediate-level skills in SOLIDWORKS.

• Good knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software and Microsoft Office applications.

• Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems and components.

• Knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical review skills.

• Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project execution.
