Parameters and constraints.

Your contribution to this team will include collaborating with project coordinators, engineers, designers, drafters, and clients to develop mechanical and structural steel designs from concept through to fully detailed drawings.

Individuals with 0-5 years of experience and the following skills will be strong candidates for the position:

• completion of a 2-3 year engineering technology program, studies in mechanical or structural are an asset
• experience with CAD software, Autodesk Inventor skills are an asset
• knowledge in structural steel and steel fabrication
• experience designing for heavy industry
• ability to develop conceptual sketches into detailed 3D designs
• confidence to directly communicate with engineers, tradespeople, and operators through verbal and written communication

Pay: $30.00-$36.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week
