MECHANICAL DESIGNER

About the role

Join ULTIMATE GRAND TECH SDN. BHD. as a Mechanical Designer based in Melaka. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical components and systems to support the company's engineering projects. Your work will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of innovative solutions for our clients.

What you'll be doing

1. Produce detailed 2D and 3D mechanical designs and drawings using CAD software
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into viable design concepts
3. Conduct design analysis, simulations, and testing to optimise mechanical designs
4. Prepare engineering documentation, specifications, and reports to support the manufacturing and implementation process
5. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and design best practices
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and standards

What we're looking for

1. Diploma Or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
2. Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the engineering industry
3. Proficient in using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor
4. Strong understanding of engineering principles, design methodologies, and manufacturing processes
5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills
6. Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams
7. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
8. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively writing and communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.**
9. Must be willing to travel outstation when required
