Mechanical Diploma Engineer – Job Description

Position: Senior Mechanical Engineer / Mechanical Site Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Diploma Mechanical Engineer with 8 years of experience in mechanical construction, site execution, maintenance, or engineering projects. The candidate will be responsible for supervising mechanical works, coordinating with contractors and vendors, monitoring site activities, and ensuring work is completed safely and according to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute mechanical works at project sites.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, and specifications.
• Coordinate with contractors, supervisors, technicians, and other departments.
• Monitor installation, fabrication, equipment erection, piping, and mechanical works.
• Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings and project standards.
• Prepare daily progress reports and maintain site documentation.
• Check materials and equipment required for mechanical works.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores teams for material requirements.
• Monitor manpower and allocate work as per project requirements.
• Inspect completed work and coordinate with the QA/QC team.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and site regulations.
• Monitor project schedules and support timely completion of assigned works.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and subcontractors when required.
