Mechanical Drafter & Team Coordinator

AVS Simulator (PT Alam Virtual Semesta) is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented, and leadership-minded Mechanical Drafter & Team Coordinator to join our Engineering team in Bandung.

In this role, you will go beyond traditional drafting—combining 2D/3D CAD design expertise with daily team coordination, manufacturing support, and operational leadership. You will serve as the primary anchor for our mechanical team's day-to-day activities and cross-departmental alignment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical Design & Documentation:

  • Create, revise, and maintain 2D/3D models (using SolidWorks), working drawings, layouts, and product technical documentations.
  • Prepare product specifications and manage technical drawing archives.

• Production Support & Optimization:

  • Optimize designs for manufacturing efficiency and provide technical support during production and fabrication phases.
  • Coordinate closely with Technology and Production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.

• Team Coordination & Daily Supervision:

  • Direct and coordinate daily activities for the mechanical team, track project timelines, and compile daily team progress reports.
  • Function as the main communication liaison between the mechanical team, internal management, and other functional divisions.

• Budgeting & Vendor Liaison:

  • Prepare project fund requests, expense reports, and Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
  • Liaise with external suppliers to support production needs.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Associate Degree (D3) or Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Drafter or Mechanical Designer. Prior experience coordinating a small team or acting as a co-lead is a strong plus.

• Technical Skills:

  • Highly proficient in CAD software, specifically SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D detailing.
  • Sound knowledge of mechanical materials, BoQ/BoM creation, and basic manufacturing/coating processes.

• Soft Skills:

  • Strong leadership capability with excellent communication and team coordination skills.
  • High attention to detail in managing project expense reports and technical drawing archives.
  • Ability to work independently and make responsible daily operational decisions.

• Location: On-site full-time at AVS Office, Jl. Cihampelas - Kota Bandung.
