Mechanical Draftsman

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Draftsman with 6–7 years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Construction industry. The candidate should have strong knowledge of mechanical drafting, technical drawings, and relevant design software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop mechanical drawings, layouts, sections, and detailed fabrication drawings.
• Develop and revise HVAC, piping, equipment layout, and mechanical installation drawings as per project requirements.
• Prepare 2D drawings using AutoCAD and review technical drawings against project specifications.
• Coordinate with mechanical engineers, site teams, and other disciplines to resolve drawing-related issues.
• Incorporate revisions, redline markups, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure timely submission of drawings.

Requirements:

• 6–7 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman in Oil & Gas or Construction projects.
• Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Drafting is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit, Plant 3D, or other relevant software is an advantage.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, layouts, and technical specifications.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates currently available in Qatar are preferred.
