About the Company

Swami Samarth Pet Industries manufactures PET packaging machinery, including blow moulding machines, injection moulding machines, filling machines, labelling machines, conveyors, mould spare parts, and complete bottling plants.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Design Engineer to create machine designs and manufacturing drawings, and to work closely with the production team so that machines are built accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings of machines, assemblies, and parts using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
• Prepare complete drawing packages: part drawings, assembly drawings and Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Design and modify machine components such as frames, conveyors, moulds, fixtures and mechanisms
• Apply correct tolerances, fits and material specifications in drawings
• Coordinate with the production and fabrication teams, and resolve design issues on the shop floor
• Improve existing designs to reduce cost and make manufacturing easier
• Maintain organised design files, drawing revisions and documentation
• Support machine assembly, trials and customer-specific modifications

Required Skills

• Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks (part, assembly, sheet metal, drafting) and AutoCAD
• Understanding of machine manufacturing processes: fabrication, machining, welding and sheet metal work
• Ability to read and prepare engineering drawings with GD&T basics
• Knowledge of materials (MS, SS, aluminium, etc.) and standard parts such as bearings, motors, pneumatics and gearboxes
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Good to Have

• Experience with PET, bottling, packaging, or similar special-purpose machines
• Basic design calculations and knowledge of pneumatics or hydraulics
• Experience in a manufacturing or workshop environment

Qualification

Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or related field)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
