Mechanical Draftsman

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsman to join our team and support the development of mechanical and HVAC drawings for our ongoing architecture, interior design, and fit-out projects. The successful candidate will work closely with mechanical engineers, project teams, and other disciplines to deliver accurate and coordinated technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed HVAC and mechanical shop drawings based on project requirements and engineering designs.
• Develop detailed plans, sections, elevations, layouts, and installation details.
• Prepare HVAC ductwork layouts and mechanical equipment layouts.
• Prepare chilled water piping and mechanical piping drawings.
• Prepare mechanical drawings for ventilation and other HVAC systems.
• Develop coordination drawings and ensure proper coordination with architectural, structural, electrical, and other MEP services.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings to identify conflicts and discrepancies.
• Incorporate consultant/client comments and update drawings accordingly.
• Prepare and maintain as-built drawings based on approved site changes.
• Ensure all drawings are accurate, clear, and aligned with project specifications and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, site teams, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions, documentation, and submission records.
• Support the engineering team with technical drawings and revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure drawings are completed within the required project deadlines.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of relevant experience as a Mechanical Draftsman / HVAC Draftsman.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Revit MEP is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, chilled water piping, ventilation, and mechanical services.
• Experience preparing shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical, architectural, and MEP drawings.
• Good understanding of MEP coordination and construction documentation.
• Experience in fit-out, interior design, architecture, or consultancy projects is an advantage.
• UAE project experience is Must.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Ability to manage multiple drawings and meet project deadlines.

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
