What they need
About the role
Mechanical, Electrical & Controls (MEC) Engineer / Technician role involving installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and support of mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical and electrical installation, maintenance and troubleshooting
- Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
- Support automation, PLC and industrial control systems
- Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently
- Comply with workplace safety procedures
About you
- NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related disciplines
- Relevant experience in mechanical, electrical or control systems preferred
- Knowledge of PLC and automation systems is an advantage
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
