MECHANICAL / ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

About the role

We are seeking a talented Mechanical / Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team at FLEXPACK SYSTEMS SDN. BHD. in Selangor. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of our state-of-the-art packaging systems, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency.

What you'll be doing

• Installing, and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components of our packaging equipment
• Developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans to maximise system uptime
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues
• Conducting regular system inspections and performance evaluations
• Providing technical support and training to our customers
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and innovations to continuously improve our systems

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in a similar engineering role, preferably in the packaging or manufacturing industry
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, including PLC programming and control systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Solidworks, or similar design software
