Mechanical / Electrical / Process Engineer (DSD/EPD/WSD projects, 25-55K)

We are recruiting engineers to join the project team on a larege scale environmental project development. Multiple openings are available for Mechanical, Electrical, and Process engineers to support design coordination, construction, installation, testing and commissioning of a large thermal treatment / energy-from-waste facility.

The role

You will provide discipline engineering support on a complex, multi-package plant covering waste reception and handling, incineration / thermal treatment, heat recovery, power generation, flue-gas treatment, ash handling, utilities and associated process systems.

Typical duties (by discipline as assigned)

• Review and coordinate design drawings, specifications, P&IDs, equipment lists, layouts and vendor documents
• Support construction, installation, interface management and site technical queries
• Review contractor / vendor submissions, method statements, material and equipment packages
• Follow up fabrication, delivery, installation quality and progress of major plant equipment
• Support testing & commissioning, FATs / SATs, performance tests and punch-list close-out
• Coordinate interfaces with civil, structural, E&I, process and other packages
• Assist with technical correspondence, change control, as-built records and O&M handover
• Ensure works comply with contract specifications, codes, statutory requirements and HSE standards
• Work with consultants, specialist vendors and subcontractors to resolve technical issues on site

What we are looking for

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical / Process, Piping or a related engineering discipline

• Experience in any of the following is an advantage:

  • Waste-to-energy / incineration plants
  • Transfer stations
  • Sewage treatment / water treatment
  • Oil & gas or similar process facilities

• Good command of English; Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is an advantage

Junior to senior candidates will be considered; title and package will match experience.
