Job Summary

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with strong Advanced Excel skills to support day-to-day operations across engineering, procurement, inventory, production, projects, documentation, and administration.

This is a cross-functional role requiring coordination with the office, workshop, stores, suppliers, project sites, clients, and management. The ideal candidate should be analytical, organized, proactive, and comfortable taking responsibility across different departments and supporting functions outside their primary role.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities across engineering, procurement, stores, workshop, projects, and logistics.
• Develop and maintain Excel dashboards, trackers, MIS, reports, and management reporting systems.
• Analyze, validate, and maintain operational and project data.
• Support procurement, material planning, inventory management, production planning, and vendor coordination.
• Prepare estimates, quotations, invoices, material registers, delivery documents, and project documentation.
• Understand and work with basic mechanical drawings, BOMs, specifications, materials, and engineering requirements.
• Track project progress, material movement, production, pending activities, and deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers, clients, subcontractors, workshop, stores, and site teams.
• Assist management with operational planning, reporting, data analysis, and process improvement.
• Support HSE, QC, documentation, and other departments whenever required.
• Assist in improving and automating business processes using Excel and other digital tools.
• Visit project sites occasionally for coordination, verification, documentation, and material follow-up.

Mandatory Skills

Advanced Microsoft Excel – Core Requirement

• Advanced Excel functions and data analysis

• Power Query / Power Pivot

• Production / Project Coordination
• Vendor Coordination
• Process Improvement

ERP & Digital Tools

• ERP systems such as SAP, Odoo, Zoho, or similar
• AI tools and Prompt Engineering
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new business software

Communication

• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to draft professional business emails and documentation independently.
• Strong coordination and interpersonal skills.

A practical Advanced Excel assessment will be conducted during the interview.

Work Location: In Person

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
