Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Review mechanical plans, drawings, specifications, and technical submittals.
• Coordinate mechanical works with project managers, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and other engineering disciplines.
• Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems and equipment.
• Ensure that mechanical works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, safety requirements, and applicable codes.
• Assist in the testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
• Monitor project quality, progress, and compliance with technical requirements.
• Identify site issues and recommend practical engineering solutions.
• Prepare technical reports, inspection records, progress updates, and other project documentation.
• Support the timely completion and proper turnover of mechanical works.
• Perform other engineering-related responsibilities assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, installation procedures, testing, and commissioning.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, equipment schedules, specifications, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with applicable mechanical, fire protection, ventilation, and building-system standards.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication, documentation, and coordination skills.
• Willingness to conduct site inspections and work in project-based environments.
• Proficient in preparing technical reports and project documentation.
• Registered Mechanical Engineer licensure is an advantage.
• Relevant experience in construction, fit-out, HVAC, fire protection, plumbing, or building projects is an advantage.
