Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Design and develop jigs, fixtures, and tooling for production and testing.
• Create and maintain 2D/3D engineering drawings using SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI), process setup, and engineering documentation.
• Improve manufacturing processes through process analysis, PFMEA, validation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Manage production equipment and tooling, including machine qualification, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Planning, and R&D teams to resolve mechanical and process-related issues.
• Prepare and maintain technical documents, work instructions (WI), BOMs, and engineering records.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and cost reduction projects to improve productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering (electronics manufacturing is preferred).
• Proficient in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Good understanding of GD&T, mechanical design, materials, tolerances, and mechanical testing.
• Knowledge of PCB Assembly, SMT, or electronic product assembly processes is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
• Good command of English is preferred.
