About the role

Radtelcom Technologies Corporation is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team on a full-time basis in Davao City, Davao del Sur. This is a strategic position within our organisation where you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and optimisation of mechanical systems and components. Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software and industry best practices
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical analyses to support product development and improvement initiatives
• Perform stress analysis, thermal analysis, and other simulation studies to ensure mechanical integrity and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, manufacturing specialists, and product managers to deliver integrated solutions
• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for manufacturing and assembly
• Oversee prototype development and conduct testing to validate designs against performance requirements
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to resolve design or manufacturing defects
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical expertise to support project milestones

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution
• 2-5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering, product design, or a related field
• Proficiency with CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, material science, and manufacturing processes
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) or other simulation and analysis tools is highly desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work methodically through complex technical challenges
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to mechanical engineering applications
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously whilst maintaining high standards of quality
• Experience in the telecommunications, technology, or manufacturing sectors is preferred but not essential
