Mechanical Engineer

1. Key Responsibilities

Duties are grouped below by functional area for ease of reference.

A. Mechanical Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Perform regular inspection, preventive and corrective maintenance for WWTP mechanical equipment such as pumps, blowers, gearboxes, valves, and piping systems.

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend appropriate solutions to minimize downtime.

• Ensure proper calibration and alignment of mechanical components as per specifications.

B. Maintenance Reporting & Records

• Prepare maintenance reports and update service records accurately and in a timely manner.

C. Project & Commissioning Support

• Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities during project implementation when required.

D. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with electrical and process teams to ensure integrated plant operation and maintenance.

E. Safety, Environmental & Compliance

• Comply with all safety, environmental, and company procedures during maintenance and service works.

F. Spare Parts & Inventory Support

• Assist in spare parts identification, inventory updates, and procurement requests when necessary.

G. Continuous Improvement

• Provide technical feedback and suggestions for equipment performance improvement.

H. General Duties

• Take up any other tasks and/or responsibilities not stated above, as instructed by superiors from time to time.
