Mechanical Engineer

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, or a related field.
• Preferably with at least 1- 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on repair and maintenance services
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and other industry-specific certifications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Monitoring and Updating of Job and Activity Log Sheet on a Daily Basis
• Monitoring of Job Execution as per assigned JO
• Reporting Requirements - Data acquisition such as Runout, Dimensional, NDT, Balancing, Drawing,
• Other Certificates and Information sheets etc.
• Suggest Process Improvements - Compliance, Communication, Cost-Optimization, Competency
• Coordination with QA/QC Engineer for ITP implementation
• Issuance and monitoring of Purchase Requisition of Materials for each assigned JO
• Compliance to HSSE Guidelines
• Proposal of Overtime to Supervisor
• Support for Service and Inspetion Reports Generation as needed.
• AutoCAD Drawing - if necessary
• Coordination/Communication with clients on as needed basis
• Provide updates to Production Coordinator and Supervisor on a daily basis for each assigned JO (WIP) - MOM required
• Review and update Standard Repair / Operating Procedure compliant to QMS
• Updating and revision of additional Scope of Work during Work Execution on as per needed basis.
• Ensure that the repair process is compliant to standards meaning quality work
• Tasks or duties may be assigned by the immediate superior or the management.

Working Conditions:

• Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional site visits depending on project needs.
• Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM, with the potential for occasional overtime or weekend work based on project deadlines.
• Health & Safety: Strict adherence to company health, safety, and environmental guidelines while on-site or during inspections. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided.

Supervisions:

• Directly reporting to the Workshop Lead and Engineering Lead
