Job Summary:
Responsible for the maintenance, reliability, installation, and improvement of mechanical equipment and material-handling systems used in warehouses, distribution centers, logistics hubs, and transportation facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, automated material-handling systems, sorters, elevators, forklifts, palletizers, dock equipment, and other mechanical systems.
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
• Diagnose mechanical failures and minimize equipment downtime.
• Inspect machinery and identify safety, reliability, and performance issues.
• Coordinate with electrical, automation, and operations teams for equipment repairs and upgrades.
• Manage contractors and maintenance vendors when required.
• Maintain maintenance records, equipment history, spare-parts requirements, and technical documentation.
• Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement root-cause corrective actions.
• Support installation, commissioning, and modification of new logistics equipment.
• Ensure equipment complies with company safety procedures and applicable standards.
• Monitor equipment performance, maintenance costs, and key reliability indicators.
• Participate in continuous-improvement projects to increase equipment availability and operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in industrial maintenance, warehouse automation, manufacturing, material handling, or logistics operations.
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems, bearings, gearboxes, chains, belts, shafts, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance and root-cause analysis.
• Familiarity with CMMS/maintenance-management software is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and team-management skills.
