Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

·       Design, review, and coordinate MEP systems, including mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, water services, drainage, and associated building services.

·       Prepare engineering calculations, technical specifications, shop drawings, material submissions, and method statements.

·       Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and authorities to resolve engineering and site coordination issues.

·       Supervise site installation works and ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.

·       Monitor project schedules, manpower, procurement, subcontractors, and project progress to ensure timely delivery.

·       Design, coordinate, and oversee the installation of ACMV systems, including chilled water systems, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation systems, pumps, and ductwork.

·       Support testing, commissioning, balancing, troubleshooting, and defect rectification of MEP and ACMV systems.

·       Conduct site inspections, technical evaluations, and root cause analysis while recommending value engineering and cost optimization solutions.

·       Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, industry standards, and company quality management systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

·       Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

·       Minimum 3–5 years of experience in MEP or Mechanical Engineering within the construction or design-and-build industry.

·       Hands-on experience with ACMV systems and good knowledge of mechanical building services.

·       Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit/BIM, and Microsoft Office.

·       Strong technical, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
