MECHANICAL ENGINEER

Duties

• Design, evaluate, and improve mechanical systems and manufacturing equipment.

• Plan, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs.

• Troubleshoot mechanical equipment and ensure timely repairs to minimize production downtime.

• Supervise the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of machinery and equipment.

• Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure efficient plant operations.

• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

• Prepare engineering reports, maintenance records, technical specifications, and documentation.

• Assist in evaluating and procuring machinery, spare parts, and maintenance materials.

• Support facility improvement projects and equipment upgrades.

• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers during equipment installation and maintenance activities.

• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions for equipment failures.

• Perform other engineering and technical duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Mechanical Engineer.

• At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, industrial plants, or production facilities is preferred.

• Knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment maintenance, utilities, and preventive maintenance programs.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other engineering design software.

• Familiarity with HVAC, compressed air systems, pumps, generators, boilers, and other industrial equipment is an advantage.

• Knowledge of ISO standards, GMP, and safety regulations is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

• Good communication, organizational, and project management skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
