Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all mechanical engineering activities across assigned projects.
• Review, evaluate, and approve mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems with other MEP disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor project progress, quality standards, and compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Identify technical challenges and provide practical engineering solutions in a timely manner.
• Ensure all mechanical installations are executed in accordance with project specifications, UAE regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare, review, and maintain project progress reports and related documentation.
• Mentor, guide, and support the mechanical engineering team to achieve project goals, schedules, and performance targets.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP contracting and construction projects.
• Strong expertise in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems.
• In-depth knowledge of mechanical drawings, project specifications, and MEP coordination practices.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is considered an advantage.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
• Previous UAE experience is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
