Requests like these reach us every week  from the energy industry, from the defense sector, from across the critical infrastructure that keeps the country running. We're a digital-MRO startup that brings discontinued, obsolete parts back to life through reverse engineering and 3D printing. We're hiring senior engineers to become the technical backbone of that work.

Why we need you now

• Demand for hard, one-off jobs is growing — but we don't yet have enough people who can own a complex part from end to end, on their own.
• The design methods, and the systems for growing junior engineers, are still being built. You'll help build them.
• We want you to be both a hands-on ace and the technical backbone of the team.

What you'll do

• Own the full cycle for parts that have no drawings — reverse-engineer, redesign, and get them made, from requirements to a finished one-off part
• Lead the calls on material selection, tolerancing (GD&T), strength, and DfAM (design for additive manufacturing)
• Work directly with demanding clients across the energy and defense industries on technical requirements
• Mentor junior engineers and standardize our design and quality processes
• Shape "how we build" — the internal design and inspection workflow

What you bring (must-have)

• 5+ years of hands-on mechanical design (product, equipment, or manufacturing engineering)
• Able to take a design from 3D CAD through to production-ready drawings on your own
• Design that can actually be made — grounded in GD&T, materials, and manufacturing know-how

Nice to have (any one)

• Reverse engineering, 3D scanning, or additive manufacturing (metal or polymer)
• Experience in high-reliability fields — plant, energy, aerospace, or defense
• Quality management (ISO 9001 / AS9100), or experience mentoring and building a team
