MECHANICAL ENGINEER

About The Role

We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer to oversee the installation and commissioning of mechanical systems. You'll ensure all work meets approved plans, codes, and project standards while coordinating with contractors, subcontractors, and other project disciplines to ensure proper system integration on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee installation and conduct site inspections of mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and building codes
• Perform testing and commissioning (pressure testing, functional testing, fire protection verification) and verify operational readiness before project handover
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and project disciplines to ensure proper system integration and resolve site issues
• Provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolve installation-related concerns
• Prepare and maintain project documentation including inspection records, testing reports, as-built documents, and progress reports
• Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, safety standards, and industry regulations

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Willing to work on-site and coordinate with different project teams

Preferred:

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (LME)
• Experience in mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems
• Knowledge of NFPA, ASHRAE, and IPC codes and standards

On-site, Malvar project location.
