Mechanical Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret mechanical plans, drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Supervise and monitor mechanical works at the project site.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors regarding mechanical requirements.
• Assist in the planning, scheduling, and implementation of mechanical works.
• Inspect materials, equipment, and installations to ensure compliance with approved specifications.
• Monitor the progress and quality of mechanical works and report issues to management.
• Identify and resolve technical problems related to mechanical systems and installations.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors regarding materials, equipment, deliveries, and technical requirements.
• Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, technical documentation, and other required reports.
• Attend site meetings and technical coordination meetings as required.
• Coordinate with DPWH and other government agencies when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Philippine codes, standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
• Assist in testing, commissioning, and turnover of mechanical systems.
• Perform other duties related to mechanical engineering and construction as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Licensed Mechanical Engineer (PRC) is preferred/required depending on project requirements.
• At least 2–5 years of experience in construction, building, infrastructure, or related projects.
• Experience in site supervision and mechanical installation is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment, piping, HVAC, plumbing, and related construction works.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and government agencies is an advantage.
• DPWH or government project experience is highly preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on-site in Pasig and attend meetings as required.
• Willing to work under a fast-paced construction environment.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
