Position: Mechanical Engineer/ Pollution Control Officer

We are looking for a dedicated and responsible Mechanical Engineer/ Pollution Control Officer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain mechanical equipment, machinery, and plant facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations.

• Conduct regular preventive maintenance and troubleshoot mechanical equipment to minimize downtime.

• Monitor environmental compliance and ensure that company operations follow applicable environmental laws and regulations.

• Prepare and maintain environmental reports, records, permits, and other required compliance documents.

• Monitor waste management, air emissions, wastewater, and other environmental control measures.

• Coordinate with government agencies and assist during environmental inspections, audits, and compliance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Licensed Mechanical Engineer is preferred/required depending on company requirements.

• Must be a DENR-accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) or willing to undergo PCO accreditation/training.

• With experience in mechanical maintenance, plant operations, environmental compliance, or a related field is an advantage.

• Knowledge of environmental laws, waste management, pollution prevention, and DENR compliance requirements.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with employees, management, contractors, and government agencies.
