What they need
- Review mechanical plans, drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Supervise and monitor the installation of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, architectural, and other construction activities.
- Ensure that mechanical works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
- Conduct site inspections and verify the quality of materials and workmanship.
- Prepare and review material submittals, shop drawings, method statements, and technical documents.
- Monitor project progress and ensure mechanical works are completed within the required schedule.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project management teams.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and site-related mechanical problems.
- Conduct testing, commissioning, and inspection of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and other required project documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable engineering standards, building codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Assist in quantity take-off, material estimation, procurement, and cost monitoring when required.
- Attend site meetings and provide technical recommendations regarding mechanical works.
- Perform other engineering duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Construction Manager.
