Mechanical Engineer

• Design and develop mechanical components, enclosures, and assemblies.
• Design 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks and/or Fusion 360.
• Define dimensions, tolerances, materials, and mechanical requirements.
• Design products for manufacturing and mass production (DFM/DFA).
• Design and support tooling, molds, jigs, and fixtures.
• Work with tooling suppliers to develop and improve production tooling.
• Support tooling trials, validation, and modifications.
• Support prototype, testing, pilot build, and mass production.
• Prepare mechanical drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
• Work closely with Hardware, Firmware, QA, Production, Procurement, and suppliers.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and tooling issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support engineering changes and mechanical design improvements.
• Improve product quality, reliability, cost, and manufacturability.
• Provide technical support to Production and suppliers.

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering or product development.
• Proficient in SolidWorks and/or Fusion 360.
• Strong understanding of 3D modeling, 2D drawings, assemblies, BOMs, GD&T, and tolerances.
• Knowledge of plastic injection, machining, CNC, and 3D printing.
• Knowledge or experience with tooling, molds, jigs, and fixtures.
• Experience supporting prototype and mass production.
• Experience working with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Good problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Willing to travel when required.
