We are seeking a mechanical engineer with Autocad, Autocad Inventor, or Solidworks experience.

The Project Engineer will be responsible for working with the chief engineer, other engineers, and shop personnel on sawmill layout design, detailed equipment drawings in conjunction with timely production of accurate and complete material lists.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Drafting ability (AutoCad, Inventor, Solidworks)
• Ability to remain independently organized
• An aptitude to recognize problems, quickly follow up with effective solutions

PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS:

• Times of work will vary with company and project requirements
• Punctuality within Monday-Friday schedule, with some weekends
• Attentiveness to sawmill owner requests, making service the top priority
• Daily completion of detailed time sheets
