• System Architecture and Solution Design
• Responsible for the mechanical system architecture design, defining the interfaces and interaction logic of subsystems (like structural support modules, transmission modules, etc.).
• Lead the breakdown and quantification of key indicators (such as load, accuracy, stiffness, lifespan, IP protection rating) to ensure the design meets the product requirement document.
• Evaluate the feasibility, cost, and risks of different technical approaches (like materials/assembly methods, tooling/die casting).
• Detailed design and development
• Completed 3D modeling, 2D engineering drawings, and BOM for key components, responsible for dimensional chain analysis and tolerance design.
• Led the selection calculations for key mechanical parts .
• Collaborated with ID (industrial design), hardware, and embedded teams to finalize layout design and structural adaptations for cooling, EMC, and more.
• Simulation and Testing
• Use finite element analysis for statics, modal, fatigue, and drop simulations to optimize structural strength and weight.
• Lead the design DFMEA, identify potential failure modes, and develop validation plans.
• Build test rigs, set up performance testing standards for mechanisms (like repeatability, stiffness curves, lifespan tests), and analyze data to drive design iterations.
• Production and Reliability Implementation
• Follow up on mold development, machining, sheet metal, and other processes, and solve issues with dimension matching, assembly interference, and yield during trial production.
• Responsible for structural re-testing and improvement after reliability tests (vibration, shock, high and low temperature, salt spray, etc.).
• Produce design review reports, verification reports, and technical specifications.
• Willing to travel frequently.

• Bachelor\master's degree educational qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related.
• At least 3 year working experience in automotive company/Tier1 or tier2, with mechanic development experience on plastic parts in automotive industrial is preferred.
• Familiar with development process and tools used in design such as FMEA, DFMA etc
• Experience in multi-sensors integration solutions development. Experience in CO2 or propane sensor (NDIR principle) development is preferred and plus.
• Familiar with GDT/GPS and tolerance analysis etc.
• Good understanding of injection and stamping tooling design & manufacturing process principles and disciplines
• Skilled in CAD software, eg: SolidWorks, Catia;
• Familiar with prototyping methods and assembly processes
• Honest, Reliable, take initiative, result origination, problem solving, leadership and good teamwork spirit.
• Strong learning ability and strong practical ability.
• Good Microsoft office skills.
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
• Good Communication skills and capability to gain respect and trust with the customer.
