Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join U-SERVICES (THAILAND) CO., LTD. in Rayong on a full-time basis. This is a strategic position within our engineering department, where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimising mechanical systems and components. The role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects that contribute directly to our operational excellence and technological advancement. You will be based in our Rayong facility, where you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative mechanical solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the repair, overhaul, installation, and dismantling of Motors, Generators, Pumps, Turbines, and rotating equipment.
• Read, prepare, and revise mechanical and spare-part drawings.
• Analyze equipment damage and determine suitable repair methods.
• Control machining, fabrication, assembly, alignment, and balancing work.
• Coordinate with technicians, Planning, QA/QC, and other relevant departments.
• Conduct thorough analysis and simulations to evaluate mechanical performance, stress, and structural integrity.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Collaborate with other engineers and departments to ensure designs meet project requirements and quality standards.
• Perform feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses for new mechanical projects and improvements.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of mechanical systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and provide technical support to resolve operational problems.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, regulations, and safety requirements.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, repair, or industrial maintenance.
• Able to read and prepare mechanical drawings.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or related software.
• Knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical repair processes.
• Able to work at the workshop and customer sites.
• Professional engineering registration or certification is advantageous.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in teams.
• Good communication skills in Thai and English (speaking, reading, and writing).
• Able to work Monday - Saturday.
